This small stink bug is usually green, sometimes brownish yellow, with fine blackish speckling on the back and dark tips to the antennae, distinguishing it from other green stink bugs in the region.
It feeds on a wide range of fruit and crop trees, including peach, citrus and persimmon as well as soybean pods, and is treated as an agricultural pest across Japan, Korea, China and the Russian Far East.
